The head of state is currently addressing a roadside rally in Kisii where he is touring for a development tour. As expected the head of state took a swipe on the former interior CS Matiang’i who has been missing from the public limelight since Raila Odinga lost in the August polls.
Speaking in Kiswahili the head of state President William ruto said, “Mambo ya Uchaguzi imeisha na Kijana Wenyu CS Matiang’i alikubali. Mmemuona akiandamana na sufuria kwa Kichwa kama Kina Eugene wamalwa?”
This easily translated as; The election period is over and former cabinet secretary Matiang’i has accepted. Have you seen him demonstrating like his former colleague Eugene wamalwa.
His remarks leaving the crowd in stitches as he assured the locals that his administration is committed on changing the livelihoods of the people who voted for him in the polls. This is the second time that Ruto is returning to Kisii for a tour.
