Law professor Makau Mutua, has sent a Stern warning over the looming chaos between the Government and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party.
The former prime minister Raila Odinga’s ally cautioned that Kenya risks witnessing an instability that will take time to reverse.
He warned that the 2007/2008 Post Election Violence began just the same way the current situation is.
According to him, the country has began going back to the unforgettable moments when a number of people were killed over Political differences.
Professor Makau Mutua warned that it is always hard for an African Nations to regain stability should there be a war.
“In 2007/08, Kenya was almost lost. We again are staring at a cliff. Let’s not go there. African post-colonial states rarely come back fully when they descend into anarchy or civil war. It becomes virtually impossible to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.” He said.
This comes at a time Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party is preparing to hold protests against President William Ruto’s government, at the same time, government has declared that the planned Demonstrations will not be allowed.
