After a year of silence, Suna East Member of parliament Hon Junet Mohammed who was the Chief campaigner for Raila Odinga during the 2022 general elections is about to make a comeback. According to a short video shared by MCA Robert Alai, Raila and Junet could be seen together. The MCA quoted, “We will be back soon”.
Junet Mohammed was one of the most prominent people during the 2022 general elections campaigns. He was the fiercest man in the Azimio coalition because of his bravery to directly criticize president William Ruto. He once told Ruto that he would not win the elections but watch Raila take State House.
However, when the election results were released Junet was heartbroken as that was not what he had expected. He took a backseat in politics and went back to his constituency to serve his people. For over a year he has been inactive both on social media and physically. Now that it has been revealed that he will be making a comeback, it seems he has accepted that they lost and it is time to move on.
