Pauline Njoroge has recently raised concerns about her missing phone and laptop, claiming that authorities have been relactant to returning her belongings. Pauline who put her issue in writing on her facebook page expressed her dilemma.
After a court session, it was stipulated that the items should be returned, and Pauline authorized her lawyer to retrieve them from DCIO Watamu.
However, the DCIO insisted that the items must be handed over to Pauline in person and on the same day, as he was scheduled to be on leave for the subsequent two weeks starting from Saturday.
Due to the short notice, Pauline was unable to travel to Watamu and receive her possessions. This has left her frustrated as she believed the situation could have been handled more flexibly.
Consequently, her gadgets remain unrecovered, and she voiced her distress at how authorities have managed to find reasons to retain her belongings for an additional two weeks.
Adding to her frustration, Pauline expressed bewilderment at the fact that her gadgets have not been charged despite being held since July 22nd.
This situation has left her questioning why her belongings are still being withheld despite the passage of time. The episode highlights the challenges individuals might face when they have no other mode of communication of they had only those that are taken.
