“Wasipoteze Muda Wao Ati Tunaongea” President Ruto Delivers A Shocker To Azimio, Asks Kenyans This

President William Ruto has poured cold water on the ongoing talks between the government and the opposition. Speaking in Thika today, the President delivered a shocker to the Azimio coalition saying that they are wasting their time demonstrating and calling for a dialogue with the Government.

The President who was on his last day visit to Mount Kenya stated that the sharing of positions ended a year ago when Kenyans voted for their leaders of choice. He went ahead and said that the only jobs available are those set aside for the young people of Kenya.

“I want to tell those people (Azimio) that They should not waste their time to demonstrate, that they should not waste their time saying that we are talking. One year ago the people of Kenya decided on the leadership of Kenya and they voted to the man for all the available positions. There is no more position for any leader, the only jobs we have is now for the young people of our country to move their progress forward,” said the President.

William Ruto went ahead and questioned Kenyans in Thika if they want a handshake between him and the opposition. In response, those who attended the rally vehemently opposed any power-sharing deal between the government and the opposition.

“Can I ask you, do you want these people to play around with us so that they can get something? What do you say Thika people? We are telling them there will be no handshake or ‘Nusu mkate.’ Now let me see those who are saying that they don’t want handshake stories,” Ruto asked as Kenyans responded by opposing any handshake deal.
