“Huo Ni Wizi” Kikuyu Musician Sarafina Salim Hits At People Opening WhatsApp Groups To Visit Parents

For sometime now kenyans especially Kikuyu artists have followed a certain tendency of opening whatsApp groups meant for parental blessings. They ussually ask Kenyans to fundraise some money so that they can go visit their parents to seek their blessings.

Kikuyu Benga musician Sarafina Salim posted on her Facebook official page disagreeing with the behaviour saying parental blessings doesn’t need anyone’s support. She posed a question if it was a must when you are going to visit your parents to open Whatsapp group and have a convoy of vehicles and support in the name of parental blessings.

She therefore asked Kenyans to stop a lot of dramas in the name of parental blessings since your parents will always bless you with what you can afford for them. She went ahead and shared a message from pastor Ben Kiengei who said people are going for parental blessings and instead of being blessed they go back cursed.

Kiengei said this is because after Kenyans and followers have given out their money those leading the ceremony ussually don’t give the parents the money which was meant for them since it is a business.
