The Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport, and a key member of President William Ruto’s administration, Kipchumba Murkomen urged opposition leader Raila Odinga to consider calling off the ongoing protests. According to Murkomen, by doing so, leaders can create a conducive environment to engage in meaningful conversations that will address the concerns of the people and foster national unity.
Murkomen dictated that enhancing talks with the government requires trust-building efforts from both sides.
