Saitabao Ole Kanchory, who was Azimio La Umoja One Kenya’s Chief Agent at Bomas of Kenya during the tallying of last year’s presidential election, has already declared his presidential bid in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Taking to his official Twitter page on Monday morning, Kanchory said that Kenyans deserve more than they have gotten over the past years and that he feels he is the right person to give then a better country.
“Quite a number of people have asked me WHY I want to run for President in 2027. The answer is simple (and it’s not why not). Kenyans deserve better than they’ve gotten over the years and now more than ever before they seem ready for better. The next election will be like none you’ve ever seen in this country,” posed Kanchory.
He further stated that President William Ruto’s government should be given space and time to either deliver or fail on its own accord. He however stated that should Ruto’s government fail to deliver it’s promises, then it should be held accountable for.
“Meanwhile, let’s allow President William Ruto time and space to deliver or fail on his own accord. This doesn’t mean his govt should not be held to account for any failures, abuses or excesses.” He added.
