The Azimio La Umoja One-Kenya coalition led by Raila Odinga who doubles as the Opposition boss has now made fresh changes regarding the planned anti-government demonstrations across the country next week.
Im a statement dated Friday 14th, the coalition has announced that contrary to the initial announcement that the protests will only be held on Wednesday next week, two more days have been added to the schedule.
On that regard, the protests will now proceed from Wednesday up to Friday consecutively. Part of the statement by Raila informs that the move was made after receiving massive intel from different groups of Kenyans in the country.
Azimio argued that several requests from all sectors of the Kenyan Public for the need to intensify the demonstrations. On that note, the unanimously agreed to the pleas and order for more demonstrations next week.
This comes in the middle of massive resentment from the government’s top officials including Cabinet Secretaries condemning the demonstrations.
