The Indirect Message Ruto Sent Raila Shortly After Launching The Githurai Water Project

President William Ruto on Saturday launched a few projects in Githurai among them a water source that will serve the local people who have had a problem with clean water for a long time. The event attracted hundreds of people from the Mt Kenya regions among them leaders in his government. Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, Rigathi Gachagua and Moses Kuria are some of the leaders spotted in the tour.

After the launch president Ruto took to his Twitter page to send a message to Raila Odinga and his Azimio la Umoja coalition. Ruto said that anyone who is delaying the delivery of government programs to the people of Kenya for political benefits is selfish.

“Derailing the delivery of government programmes and services for political gain is selfish.” Ruto tweeted.

This was an indirect message to Raila telling him to stop the demonstrations which have pulled the country ‘s development backwards. Ruto also promised not to allow the Azimio coalition to interfere with his government by denying them a handshake.
