Nairobi governor, Johnson Sakaja, has reacted on the ongoing bipartisan talks between the Kenya Kwanza politicians and the Azimio brigade.
While reacting, Sakaja encouraged the committee members of the bipartisan teams to focus on establishing a solution that will help in putting to an end the political mayhem being witnessed within the country.
Despite of encouraging the bipartisan talks negotiations, the Nairobi governor has poured a cold water on Azimio’s hope of getting a slice of the government. According to Sakaja, he has noted that the government is already full to capacity and that no more people from the Azimio faction will be accommodated within the government.
“Pia wajue serikali imejaa, ama Kuna nafasi bado mliacha Kwa uchaguzi? (They should know that the government is already full, is there any position that you left vacant during the elections?).” Sakaja told a crowd of people in Embakasi.
Meanwhile, Sakaja’s speech comes at a time that both Raila’s and Ruto’s representative are going on with the the bipartisan talks. The talks aims at making a truce between the opposition and Kenya Kwanza government amid political tension a year after the controversial elections.
