With UDA Party Governor hon Jonestone Sakaja being at the helm of the top leadership of the county, Babu Owino has come out a man willing to take the mantle after Jonestone Sakaja. According to Abuga Makori, on a free and fair election, Jonestone Sakaja cannot defeat the current Embakasi East member of parliament hon Babu Owino.
Babu Owino has shown interested of contending for the position of Governorship in the county of Nairobi comes 2027 and it is anticipated to be a hotly contested election with Jonestone Sakaja viewed as the best governor Nairobi County has ever had before. Sakaja defeated the former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s man in the just concluded general election raising alot if concerns as to why Raila Odinga failed to field Tim Wanyonyi as the candidate. However, it’s a matter of time as we wait 2027 but the puzzle as to whether Sakaja or Babu Owino remaining a serious issue of debate at the moment.
