Rare Moment as Ruto Temporarily Abandons Fuel Guzzlers, Walks on Foot in Kiambu Town (VIDEO)

A rare moment was today witnessed as President William Ruto decided to walk on foot as he acknowledged greetings from Kiambu Town residents.

The President had just presided over the Laying of the Foundation Stone for ACK St James Cathedral in Kiambu Town when he was spotted walking on foot in Kiambu Town.

Ruto was accompanied by other UDA allied leaders including Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi and several MPs and MCAs from Kiambu County during the rare walk in Kiambu Town.

He was also spotted mingling with some of the area residents as he waved at the crowd that had gathered at the Town to listen to his speech.

After the dramatic moment, the president was forced to go back to his vehicle, from where he addressed the mammoth crowd that had gathered at the town.

In his speech, Ruto told the area residents that he has already told their area MP to work hand in hand with the MCAs to ensure service delivery to the Kiambu Town residents.

Ruto als said that the government will development a County Aggression Park in Kiambu Town for the benefit of the residents.

He said that they have also reached an agreement with the area Governor that an industrial park will be created within the Town to increase job opportunities for Kiambu youths.
