Former Mwingi Central Joe Mutambu has argued that nothing new is expected to come from the current crop of leaders. Speaking on Thursday, July 27 during a morning TV interview, the former law maker opined that the only way Kenyans can experience economic growth and progressive development is if they shun politicians and vote for leaders.Mutambu’s rhetoric comes at a time president Ruto is on a receiving end following his failure to honor his pre-poll pledges in his short stunt in office. Before winning presidency and occupying the house on the hill top respectively.
Ruto promised to lower the cost of living within the first 100 days in office but the irony of it is that ten months latter he is under criticism for not only failing to keep his word but also by overburdening Kenyans more through his unpopular economic and leadership misadventures. In a recent media discourse, Raila stated that Kenyans are suffering courtesy of the bad choices they made during the last election. Ex-NASA chief principal argued that things would have been better economically had Kenyans casted their lots on Azimio One Kenya leaders.Following the biting cost of living and the collapse of bipartisan talks, Raila reactivated anti-Ruto demos saying that’s the effective way of asking for attention from the government. Hitherto, ODM leader and his UDA counterpart have shown interests in brokering a truce and ending protests respectively.
