Reacting to the words of the former prime minister Raila Odinga yesterday, blogger Abraham Mutai has failed to understand whether what Raila Odinga was saying will apply to all Kenyans. In Kamukunji, Raila Odinga called for civil disobedience to the government of president William Ruto asking Kenyans not to pay tax and walking to their places of work by foots.
Raila Odinga also told the Matatu operators not to increase fare but carry in excess as a way of not consuming the petroleum products. Raila Odinga went ahead to ask Kenyans to always be filling nil tax return instead of what they have been doing.
However, the issue of not driving to work and walking instead is what has elicited a mixed reaction online. Blogger Abraham Mutai has failed to understand if Raila Odinga’s close allies like the members of Parliament will also walk in their places of work as they are asking Kenyans to do.
