The Azimio La Umoja One-Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga has on Tuesday July 11 unveiled a digital platform to collect signatures online.
In his statement during a press briefing at Kalonzo Musyoka Command Centre, Raila said the process is part of his elaborate campaign to force the Kenya Kwanza administration to listen to Kenyans.
As of now, the opposition boss stated that a total of 1.2 million Kenyans have already signed the petition, affirming the Azimio’s move to remove President William Ruto from power.
“A total of 1.2 million signatures have been collected as of today,” Raila said.
Speaking on the expected demos scheduled for tomorrow, Raila said tomorrow’s demonstrations will be way different from the previous ones that were held on July 7. He stated that tomorrow, exceptionally many Kenyans will turn up not only in Nairobi, but also across the country.
Raila argued that there will be many Kamukunji’s everywhere and anywhere in the country, political scenario that has not been experienced in the country so far. He then asked his supporters to do two things, remain together and get united ahead of the protests.
