What mouners who were attending the burial of the late COTU Chairman Rajab Mwondi in Vihiga County did to Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi after telling them to clap for former Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission, IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati can now be laid bare after the details were shared by political analyst Herman Manyora who was also part of the mourners who were attending the burial event.
According to the information shared by Manyora, Mudavadi had told the mourners to clap for former IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati for he had supervised a wonderful election, the August 9 General Elections and because Chebukati was a Luhya.
It is reported that the mourners declined to follow the instructions of the Prime Cabinet Secretary. It should be noted that Mudavadi hails from Vihiga County.
“Iam attending a funeral in Vihiga and right now MUDAVADI is asking the people to clap for Chebukati because he supervised a wonderful election. And because Chebukati is a Luhya. The mourners have asked him to repeat it because they did not hear him well. These LUHYAS!” Manyora said.
The burial ceremony was also attended by Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga and some of his western allies.
