Prof. Makau Mutua Reacts After Yet Another Clown Show, This Time In Gabon

Prof. Makau Mutua has said, yet another clown show — this time in Gabon. Lol. The Bongo dynasty needed an end. He should have read the writing on the well.

“We are putting an end to the current regime,” #Gabon soldiers say on TV early Wednesday. But democracy is a fallacy…almost 60 years of democracy only the rich are becoming rich and Africans are becoming poorer despite the wealth of the land…this is the way to go.

Prof, if you are a Man enough, kindly travel to Gabon and call the new legitimate leadership of Gabon “clowns” while inside Gabon and you’ll find out for yourself if they’re clowns or not after they lock you up until they make you cry like a baby.

This one I’m rather sympathetic with, I just hope that free and fair elections can be held now that the dictatorship is done with but that can only happen with the help of the AU and the wider international community. The Bongos ruled the place for 6 decades including running it from abroad. I don’t like coups, but this one seems justified.

The military in Gabon has seized power from Ali Bongo. But being products of the same greedy regime, how certain are we they’re not doing this out of greed? Not a clown show, please. I know you know how Ali Bongo and their family have been running Gabon. Let’s hope his cousin or uncles are not behind this one. Taking power away from an incompetent fool whose power is justified by sham elections and giving it back to the people isn’t clowning.

We are Africans – You went to Europe and came back with some fake human rights. We had our civilization before the Europeans. We are back to default. You can sit on a pin! To the choir members in the imperial orchestra, this is a clown show, but to the Africans in the ground, the yoke of oppressive colonizers and their stooges are being thrown asunder. Greater day in the homeland. Viva.

African redemption happening everywhere. That’s fantastic news because that man dominated the nation for almost 15 years with an iron hand. The Bongo family has dominated that nation for more than 60 years, which is absurd.
