Ekuru Aukot a former contender for president claims that, Western countries are currently only using President William Ruto for their personal benefit.
In an update on August 21st, Aukot said that the western nations will dump Ruto once he is no longer valuable to them. African presidents and heads of state, according to the leader of the Third Way Alliance Party are unimportant to western countries.
“Like they did with his predecessor, the West is merely utilising him (Ruto) temporarily. Presidents from Africa are not important to those people. They are put to good use. They are disposed of at the appropriate moment, particularly when they are no longer needed,” he tweeted.
President William Ruto, Vice President Rigathi Gachagua, and President Joko Widodo of Indonesia have previously asserted that President Ruto was the most sought-after visitor abroad.Speaking on Friday, August 18, at the Devolution Conference’s closing ceremony in Uasin Gishu County, Gachagua claimed that if the President had approved every request to travel abroad, he would have spent the majority of his time away from the nation.
“This William Ruto, whom you detested and gave no chance, is now a popular traveller in all major cities. He would spend 360 days outside of this country per year if he accepted the invitations to the countries he was being invited to visit. People are jealous, believing that our president is a thief and crooked, and they believe that the West and East will not support him. Every African nation wants our president to speak for the entire continent,” according to Gachagua.
