It is no secret that Mumias East MP Peter Salasya is currently is the process of having his mansion built.
In the past few months or so, his electorate has infact been building a mansion for him in the village, and this is purely out of their love for him.

Their efforts that they began few months ago have so far succeeded, because they enabled the first time legislator to have his house transformed from a mud-walled house, to now being a semi-permanent one.
Well recently photos have emerged showing how Peter Salasya’s mansion has progressed so far, and what was clear is that it was already completed.
The photos were shared by a Twitter user by the moniker of Cornelius Ronoh, and it showed how the mansion was even beautifully painted to fit his status of an MP.

It should be noted that the locals began building the mansion for Hon. Peter Salasya about 10 months ago, just few weeks after he won the Mumias East seat despite having limited financial resources.
Taking to his social media platforms on September 26, the vocal legislator revealed this for the first time and he expressed gratitude to the residents for building him the mansion.
“My precious people of Mumias East Constituency, you said you cannot allow your leader, who has championed for Mumias Sugar Company (msc) revival live in a shameful house. I am grateful that you have managed to finish this mansion for your MP even before his first salary. I will give back” Salasya said in a tweet.
