Kacheliba MP Titus Lotee was asked in an interview on Citizen to give his views on Archbishop Anthony Muheria’s remarks that president Ruto is rough, insultive and imposing.
According to Lotee, the archbishop was wrong because the the president is humane, empathetic and compassionate.
He explained that the Ruto is humane because he is one of the presidents who is usually with the people all the time and he is compassionate because he agreed to have bi-partisan talks in parliament with the opposition when he felt like the nation was in a bad state.
He said, “For us to say that he is actually humane, he is one of the presidents who has been found to be with the people all the time and he listens to the people. He is compassionate because at a point where this country was breaking in March this year he agreed to have a bi-partisan talk in parliament with the opposition.”
That the fact that the President is okay with the Finance Act being suspended shows that he is humane.
