It has all been laughter in Bungoma after the speaker of the national assembly honorable Moses Wetang’ula has reminded COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli how he used to attack him. He has also revealed the recent action that he has taken against him.
Wetang’ula has told the gathering that a few days ago, Atwoli paid a courtesy visit to his office alongside the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
According to Wetang’ula, he called Atwoli so that he can remind him about how he used to say that he would tour counties of Bungoma, Kakamega and Trans Nzoia to make sure that he had no place to hide. Atwoli had made these tough comments while campaigning for Azimio presidential candidate honorable Raila Odinga.
“You know recently a picture went round mimi na Musalia kwa ofisi yangu na tulikuwa na mzee mmoja. Na watu wakaanza kujiuliza mlikuwa mnazungumza nini? Nikawaambia tulikuwa kumuita mzee kumkumbusha mzee ile alisema. I will be there in Bungoma, I will be there In Kakamega, I will be there in Trans Nzoia and there will be no place for one Moses Masika Wetang’ula to hide. Nikamuambia this is where I’m hiding my friend. Mzee Atwoli kuja salimia wananchi,” said Wetang’ula causing laughter.
