Okiya Omtatah Vows To Take Action Against EPRA Boss Over This

Busia County Senator Okiya Omtatah has now vowed to take quick action against the Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) boss Daniel Kiptoo for an alleged court contempt.

This is after the agency increased the fuel prices despite the court having suspended the finance act in waiting for the hearing relating to the case.

“Senator Omtatah wants EPRA boss Daniel Kiptoo cited for contempt of court after agency increased fuel prices when implementation of Finance Act, 2023 was suspended.” Reads part of the report.

This comes as the hearing and determination of the case in petition filed by the Senator is currently underway. This comes as the Rift Valley elders faults Okiya Omtatah for allegedly being used by the Opposition in causing chaos.
