A secret meeting between former Vice President of Kenya and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka with foreign envoys including the US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whiteman has been revealed.
The meeting between Kalonzo and other foreign envoys comes at a time when Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga is set to lead his supporters in demonstrations in the capital, Nairobi, the Maandamano finals.
According to the information shared by journalist Mwangi Maina, Kalonzo met with Foreign Envoys at his home in Karen.
“Foreign envoys including the US Ambassador in Nairobi have just met the former Kenyan VP Kalonzo Musyoka at his Karen home.” Journalist Mwangi Maina wrote.
The meeting comes only few days after 13 European Countries issued a statement on the ongoing Raila’s led demos in the capital and across the country while saying that they were concerned with the loss of lives and destruction of properties in the said demos.
The countries which included USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany among others said that they were ready to mediate the talks between the warring parties to reach amicable solution.
