One particularly explosive claim made by Etale is related to a piece of land in Thika, which was formerly owned by the Delmonte Company. According to Etale, Governor Wamatangi has steadfastly refused to relinquish control of this land, and this act of defiance has allegedly made him a pariah within his own party.
