It will be busy days for the Milimani Anti- corruption Court from Monday 10th July to 14th as notably corruption cases involving former county bosses are set to be mentioned and heard.
The Hearing of the Corruption charges against the former governor of Nairobi, Mike Mbuvi Sonko and four others will be on 11, 12 and 13th of July.
The are charged with the embezzlement of Ksh24.1 million from the Nairobi county government during his tenure.
A corruption case against the immediate former Governor of Murang’a Francis Mwangi wa Iria, Top image and and 7 others will be mentioned in court on 12th.
A suit in recovery of Kshs547 million paid to Top image media services, a company which is allegedly associated with Mwangi wa Iria, through contracts awarded in conflict of interest.
On 13th a case against former Kiambu governor Waititu will be mentioned.
The governor together with 12 others are charged with conflict of interest, abuse of office and dealing with suspects property.
Former Samburu Governor, Moses Kaseine alongside 13 others are charged with a conspiracy to commit an offence of corruption, abuse of office and conflict of interest.
