After over three years of having political differences, the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has now issued a new message this time around to his former boss and ex-president Uhuru Kenyatta whom he has openly invited to join their camp.
This comes as a surprise to many Kenyans since Gachagua has been issuing a lot of tough words against Uhuru before and after they took over power following their victory in the previous elections.
As things stand now, Gachagua is ready to work with Uhuru on the same camp since he has made it clear to him that he is welcome to join them.
This begs the crucial question as to whether Uhuru will immediately make a response and decide to answer back at him so that Kenyans can understand if he has accepted the offer.
Another worrying thing is what will happen to Azimio if Uhuru joins Gachagua’s camp. This is because the ex-president plays a big role in Azimio where he still serves as the chairman.
“We pray God to heal our son Uhuru Kenyatta to come back home and work with us. We love him the way we used to love him and we stay together so that we can build this country,” said Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
