Kimilili member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has lectured Mumias East lawmaker Peter Salasya after shouting at the interdenominational church service in Bungoma causing chaos in the event.
Barasa was forced to asked for forgiveness on behalf of all lawmakers after Salasya shouted at the President thereby causing embarrassment to the western Kenya MPs. Barasa then requested Salasya to use his brain and not his voice when attending such a special function where political leaders from the government are attendees.
“Jambo la kwanza nataka kuomba msamaha kidogo Kwa niaba ya hawa wajumbe, nimeona ndugu yangu Peter Salasya ameamka na kupiga kelele hapa, ningependa mmsamehe unajua anatembea na ndugu Wajackoyah kwa hivyo vitu wanatumia ndio mbaya, Kwa function kama hii ya rais unakaa unatulia you use your brain and not your voice,” Didmus Barasa said.
This comes after President Ruto joined congregation from Bungoma as they attended an interdenominational church service where several leaders both from Kenya Kwanza and Azimio also joined the event.
