Member of Parliament Johanna Ngeno has caused cheers from the mourners after exposing how Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya intimidated the Nakuru residents while he was working as a Rift Valley regional commander.
Speaking in Nakuru during the funeral service of late David Chepkwony, husband to Njoro MP Charity Kathambi, the lawmaker claimed that Natembeya together with Keriako Tobiko were a huge threat to the Nakuru residents as they always threatened the security. He revealed that they used to receive orders from the above to ignite tribal wars between the ethical groups that live in Nakuru. He however expressed his satisfaction after President Ruto won the presidential election as he brought order to the region and the residents are living in peace.
“Your Excellency hawa watu wa area hii waliangaishwa sana na ile serikali ya akina Natembeya, huyo alikuwa a household name wakiwa na mwingine anaitwa Keriako Tobiko hao watu waliangaishwa wananchi vibaya sana na hawa wakaaji walikuwa wanaomba uwatoa na munhu alikusaidia ukawatoa uongozini,” MP Ngeno said as the mourners cheered.
Ngeno had joined various political leaders including President Ruto, Dp Gachagua among several leaders to mourn with the family of MP Kathambi over the lose of the husband.
