This morning the Head of State President William Ruto was accompanied by his top government officials as he graced the Ushirika Day at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
Its unfortunate that his top ally and close friend Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi was not present at the event, but the Head of State acknowledged the presence of his Deputy, two Cabinet Secretaries present.
He noted that what happened at the event was the formalization of informal sector enterprenuers.
Taking to his Facebook page, President Ruto quoted that “The deliberate strengthening of cooperative societies will help in the formalisation and mainstreaming of marginal and informal sector entrepreneurs. This move will accord them access to training and affordable credit to support their businesses, hence tackle poverty and accelerate our economic growth.
