Youth and sports cabinet secretary Ababu Namwamba is now a man under siege as he is set to appear before the national assembly to answer questions related to the sports and athletes in the country where it is said that he misused funds meant for the athletes when they were supposed to fly out of the country.
Ababu Namwamba is one of the most vocal cabinet secretaries who took a centre stage in campaigning for the head of state and government president William Ruto prior to his August last year’s elections as president in the country.
CS Ababu Namwamba is being accused of not attending well to the athletes where he is set to appear in parliament to defend himself or face impeachment by the National assembly should the claims against him be found to be the truth where a section of leaders allied to president William Ruto had asked him to resign.
