Zimbabwean Opposition leader Nelson chamisa.
The president of Zimbabwe Emerson Mnangawa was inaugurated on Monday in a ceremony where the republic of Kenya was represented by prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
However, the election of Mnangawa still is contested with the opposition led by Nelson chamisa claiming Victory.
The big developments in the country have elicited mixed reactions from other countries with president William Samoei Ruto supporting the reelection of president Mnangawa.
However, controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna who is a supporter of president William Samoei Ruto has differed with many opting to stand with the opposition.
In a tweet on his official X account formally twitter on Monday, Miguna asked the opposition chief chamisa to come out and make noise because he is the one who won the polls.
Additionally, He urged him not to fear the Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangawa who is also known as the crocodile.
“Mr. @nelsonchamisa: You won an election. Get out from your hiding place and MAKE NOISE. Don’t be afraid of the crocodile. Stop being a coward!”, Said Miguna on Twitter.
It seems Miguna’s position has elicited reactions from one Zimbabwean national who took to social media to appreciate the general for standing with the south African country.
“My appreciation to the people’s general @MigunaMiguna for the solidarity with the fighting people of Zimbabwe! There is no free Kenya if Zimbabwe is not free! There is no free Africa if Zimbabwe is not free!CITIZENS ARE THE ULTIMATE RESISTANCE!”, Said makomborero.
It now remains to be seen whether the opposition in Zimbabwe will heed Miguna Miguna’s advise.
