Karua Reacts To Kenya Kwanza Statement Listing Issues To Be Discussed During A Dialogue

The Kenya Kwanza team and the Azimio Coalition have decided to put an end to their political animosity and come together for a constructive dialogue.

This crucial step aims to resolve the prolonged political stalemate that has gripped the country for the past few months. Following separate meetings of the Principals from both camps, a joint statement was sent to newsrooms, announcing their willingness to engage in this much- awaited discussion.

However, NARC Kenya party leader Hon. Martha Karua, who also serves as the Azimio presidential running mate in the upcoming August 9 general elections, responded to Robert Alai’ s recent tweet about the listed issues to be discussed during the Azimio dialogue with President William Ruto.

Hon. Martha Karua emphasized the importance of including the cost of living in the negotiations, stating, ” If the cost of living isn’ t part of the discussions, both HE Babu Owino and I will push for a parallel initiative separate from this kalongolongo. Our people should not have lost their lives for mere jokes; we need to take this matter seriously. There is no room for unseriousness here. “

In a message directed to Robert Alai, she stated, ” The wish list by Kenya KK Azimio remains unchanged, with the cost of living being the number one priority. “

As the situation unfolds, we will have to wait and see if President William Ruto and Azimio will reach an agreement and put an end to the weekly protests. It is crucial for the dialogue to address the concerns of the citizens and work towards finding viable solutions to the challenges faced by the nation.
