A major political showdown is looming in Meru County after the Deputy Governor, Mutuma M’Ethingia, after finally admitted fallout with his boss Governor Kawira Mwangaza.
Speaking yesterday, August 26, to a Meru vernacular television station, Weru TV, M’Ethingia disclosed that he is not in good terms with the county boss.
He divulged that the bad blood between him Mwangaza begun after the Governor was impeached by Members of County Assembly (MCAs) few months after taking the leadership of the county, adding that his budget was completely cut and staff working at his office fired.
“My tribulations started after the infamous impeachment. My budget was cut completely. Since February, I have been operating on my salary”
“My 2 cars were confiscated, one was given to the governor’s political advisor, and the other went to another department. Enough is enough,” he told Weru TV.
