In the previous governments, Kenyan has never had a female president and even a deputy president. This trend seems to be coming it’s end as we are witnessing female politicians coming up to take big roles like being the county bosses (governors).
Currently we have strong female politicians who have served even for two terms in offices and they could be eyeing top positions in the coming future.
In the next general election which will be held in 2027, president William Ruto might find a female politicians who could take up the role of the deputy if he decides to part ways with the current deputy president.
There are many options of these female politicians who can play the role of the deputy president but president William Ruto will opt for the one who will attract more votes to their camp.

Waiguru has won the gubernatorial seat for Kirinyaga county. Governor Ann Waiguru is currently serving her second and last term in office. Her next move could be being in the national politics.
