Langata member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor also known as Jalang’o has cracked President Ruto and Homabay residents after questioning how he ended up being the President despite all the traps that were against his success.
Speaking in Homabay during the homecoming ceremony for PS Raymond Omollo, Jalang’o admitted that he does not believe that Ruto is the President because they were sure of Raila Odinga clinching the top seat for the first time following the huge support he was receiving from the system. He however requested him to ensure Homabay county and other luo nyanza regions feel part of the government by channeling some developments to the region.
“Sisi wengine hata hatuamini wewe ni Rais, kama ingekuwa ni mtihani tulikuwa mpaka na marking scheme na ilikuwa inaeza vizuri mpaka dakika ya mwisho na sijui ulipenya aje ikakuwa Rais jameni,” MP Jalang’o said leaving the crowd in laughter.
This comes as Jalang’o is witnessing hard time from his ODM political party after his close relationship with President Ruto that has not been received well by Raila and some of Azimio members.
