EALA member of parliament honorable Kanini Kega has caused laughter after he has given his narration about the big lose that he registered months ago when he bought shoes for his then Azimio party leader honorable Raila Odinga.
Kanini has recounted purchasing shoes for Raila so that they could aid him in climbing Mount Kenya region during their campaigns as he sought to be elected into office.
According to him, this move did not come to fruition since Raila lost the election to his opponent. Kanini has also opened up that he didn’t cast his vote in favor of President William Ruto but the Azimio candidate.
More laughter was heard when Kanini further added that not only did Raila register a lose in polls but he also made him to lose too. It should be noted that he lost while running for re-election in Kieni constituency in Nyeri County.
“I want to be very honest infront of my colleagues who are here. I didn’t give my vote to William Ruto. I was with Raila Odinga infact I bought shoes for him so that he could climb the mountain. Say falling. What are you saying? He fell until he made me fall as well (laughter). That is the truth, we went into the election and got defeated. Kiswahili people normally say those who doesn’t concede defeat aren’t competitors,” said honorable Kanini Kega.
