UDA’s Gatundu South member of parliament, Kagombe, has reiterated CS Moses Kuria’s attack on the Nation media group. In a meeting that was attended by the cabinet secretary for trade, Moses Kuria, MP Kagombe defended the Trade CS from accusations against the Nation media.
While delivering his speech, MP Kagombe alleged that he was previously working at the media house and that he witnessed biasness in the their reporting. Kagombe went on to note that they will still go on doing business despite of the negative publicity.
“Mimi nilikua nafanya kazi na Nation media na nimejua ukora yote iko hapo…sisi bado tutaendelea kufanya biashara, nyinyi endeleeni kuandika ujinga, Kwendeni huko (I was working with Nation media, I know what’s going on there…We will still go on doing our business as you continue to write).” MP Kagombe fiercely noted.
Meanwhile, Kagombe’s attack on the media house comes at a time that a section of politicians aligned to Kenya Kwanza have been castigating the popular media house for allegedly publishing false stories. CS Kuria had earlier put the media house on the spot after he alleged that the media’s newspaper publication on corruption on sugar importation was false.
