” Kingereza Pelekea Wazungu, Wachana na Sisi” Gachagua Jokingly Tells Wetangula After What he Did

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on 28th August afternoon caused laughter in Bungoma aftet what he told national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula.

As captured by Daily News, Gachagua claimed that Wetangula has been intimidating him and Bungoma residents with complex English knowing that majority don’t understand it.

As a result, he called jokingly called on Wetangula to use the complex English when addressing Europeans or Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s leaders who are disturbing president William Ruto.

” Sasa si huyu speaker wenu alitaka kuwaumiza na kiingereza mkamwambia tawa. Kumbe huyu speaker si mimi anaumiza pekee, anaumiza mpaka watu wa nyumbani. Sasa wewe speaker, nilikuwa nafikiria ni mimi unaumiza na kizungu kumbe unaumiza na watu wa nyumbani “, he jokingly said.

” Enda umiza wazungu. Kama wazungu hakuna umiza Azimio wanasumbua watu wetu.

Gachagua as well thanked Bungoma residents for standing with Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

Further, he maintained that the government is stable and won’t be cowed by threats from Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s chief Raila Odinga.

His statement comes off a day after Mr Odinga threatened to resume mass action demonstrations should the ongoing talks between Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition and Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government fail.

Present in Bungoma were president William Ruto, prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi, national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula, Trade, investment and Industry cabinet secretary Moses Kuria, Susan Nakhumicha and many others.
