President William Ruto on 13th August afternoon attended a church service in Karen, Nairobi alongside his entourage.
As relayed by a report covered on kenyans.co.ke, president William Ruto’s statement on farmers raised sharp reactions from Kenyans online who seemed to be against his stance.
The head of state claimed that one cannot become a farmer if he or she doesn’t believe in God.
” You cannot become a farmer if you don’t believe in God”, he said.
However in response, kenyans ganged up against the remarks questioning president William Ruto’s thinking as follows;
Pillows: Ruto stop confusing farmers na juzi uliwauzia mbolea ulipewa free kutoka Russia.
Festus: Simply, he insinutaes that they r easliy duped into believing false political theatrics of the same politicians…na watazidi gugulwa.
Carpenter: Indians worship cows while China have their Buddhas…India is feeding Kenya with their rice while fish farmers in China are flooding Kenya with fish.
It should be noted that Ruto’s government has played a major part in ensuring that food production increases. In conjunction with Russian government, Kenya Kwanza’s government has been able to disburse subsidized fertilizers to farmers across the country,a move that is anticipated to double the amount of food production.
Lastly in your opinion, do you agree with President William Ruto that without God one cannot be a good farmer?
