As per the details shared by the Star, all lawmakers will take home 1.7 million per month. It has emerged that each lawmaker takes home Ksh 725,502 as a monthly salary, Ksh 120,000 as committee sitting allowances, and Ksh 356,525 as a car maintenance allowance. Further, in a statement shared by the Star, it has emerged that some of these MPs are taking home a bigger salary than even President William Ruto.
