A Rift Valley Politician and an ardent supporter of Raila Odinga has alleged that the government is planning to assassinate him because of his constant criticism of the Kenya Kwanza administration and his loyalty to Raila.
The politician stated that in the case of his alleged assassination, the only people who are authorised to participate in his burial is the Azimio family led by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. He said that the UDA politicians should not be allowed in his burial because they will have participated in his assassination.
“I want to say this I know the government is looking for me to assassinate me. This is my request that any politician from the UDA party should not come to my burial. How can you come to my burial and yet you participated in organising for my assassination?” Said the politician.
“The only people I would wish to come to my burial if I end up being assassinated are Azimio politicians led by Raila Odinga. Raila is the only one who should be allowed to view my body in a casket and not any UDA Politician,” the Rift Valley’s Azimio politicians added.
He asserted that Raila Odinga will the one who should grace his burial ceremony. He added that people should not accept UDA “goons” in his burial ceremony.
“Any goon from UDA should not be near my burial ceremony. The only person who should be allowed to my burial is Raila Amollo Odinga and the entire Azimio fraternity,” he said.
The Kericho ‘Bunge La Mwananchi’ politician has been one of the people who have been criticizing the Kenya Kwanza administration while declaring their support for opposition leader Raila Odinga despite him coming from Ruto’s political stronghold.
