Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah has recognized efforts put in place by security officers in ensuring there is peace during the antigovernment protests.
Speaking while at Our Lady Consolata Mugoiri High School, MP Kimani Ichung’wah thanked the security men and women for showing commitment and dedication I’m safeguarding peace, lives and properties of peace loving Kenyans during the demonstrations that posed a threat to our nation’s democratic, economic and social fabric. He told president William Samoei Ruto that the officers deserve unwavering support and acknowledgement over their actions.
He also claimed that those who call people to demonstrations set up other people’s sons and daughters to fight the police while they board planes to go on vacations in Dubai, Mombasa and other luxurious places. In addition, he slammed the media for what he termed as favoring Protestors and forgetting about police officers being maimed by armed protesters.
