During his visit to Western parts of Kenya, president Ruto took a swipe at the opposition leaders. While delivering his speech to a crowd, the president hilariously gave a hint on how the official office of the opposition leader will look like incase it will be successfully created via the ongoing bipartisan talks.
While speaking, the president noted that he will make sure he fits trumpets and loud speakers in the office of the opposition. The president went on to funnily note that the instruments will be helpful to the opposition leaders in delivering their message to the public incase they detect illegality within the Kenya Kwanza government.
Meanwhile, going by the president’s promise to fit a loud speaker in the office of the opposition, this symbolized the president’s aim at creating a favourable working conditions for the leaders of the opposition.
Furthermore, the president has also promised to fully finance all the activities of the office of the opposition through government funding. On the other hand, despite of his support towards the creation of the office of the opposition, the president has maintained that his government will not tolerate demonstrations by the opposition leaders.
