The Sanator for Vihiga County, Godfrey Osotsi has dismissed reports that he was arrested by police officers and driven to unknown location. He is clear that, Police came to his house seeking to arrest him but he run away through the backdoor. He is clear that, the reports by Kalonzo of his alleged arrest is untrue.
Godfrey Osotsi is clear that, the police officers wanted to arrest him over allegations thst he wanted to disrupt Ruto’s meeting in Vihiga County. Osotsi has remained firm that, he outsmarted the police and that’s when they went away.

Osotsi has however condemned police officers for locking up Kalonzo Musyoka at his home and arresting other Azimio leaders. The intimidation of Azimio leaders has been extremely high and that’s a question that has raised more questions than answers.
Godfrey Osotsi has assured his supporters that he is sound and safe and ready to lead the Azimio course going forward. He has however condemned police officers for using abductions as a means of settling political scores against leaders.
