Former Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has suffered another major setback after one of his firms in the country along the coastal region suffered a major blow in court battle with the Kenya Ports Authority over the new tariffs being lavied by the Kenya Ports Authority that he has not been paying.
This comes after the former Raila Odinga close ally’s Firm was taken to court to pay tariffs that he allegedly not paid since he was te Mombasa governor under the ODM party of opposition chief Raila Odinga and his team before his term ended prior to last election.
In the court ruling, the court has ordered the Hassan Joho firm to pay it’s tariffs something that is rendering him a major setback as he is expected to pay money for the new tariffs which is going to cause the firm money expenses interms of cash and other resources.
