Governor Nyong’o Breaks His Silence Amidst Reports of Kicking Non-locals Out of Kisumu

The governor of Kisumu County has responded to reports of Kicking non – locals out of Kisumu County. He is clear that, the alleged border dispute between Kisumu and Vihiga is untrue and people have not been asked to Vacate Maseno.

The governor of Kisumu County Anyang Nyong’o has been embroiled in border dispute with Kericho and Vihiga something that has pitted him as the aggressor. The governor has been asking those who are not residents of Kericho to vacate.

Anyang Nyong’o political moves are obviously going to put him into an awkward place especially given the power of Kericho and Vihiga counties. However, let’s wait and see of whether the ongoing efforts to encourage peace among communities will bear fruits.

Anyang Nyong’o has been at the forefront accusing Kericho residents of attacking Kisumu people. He has also previously accused the people of Vihiga of going to his County to do business. This issues have truly demonstrated that, the governor is not a leader who can unite people.
