Some few minutes ago, the current president of Uganda, hon Yoweri Kaguta Museveni came out to issue a statement after hosting the former president of this country hon Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta at State house Uganda.
As seen from his tweet, Museveni started by saying that he had a meeting with Uhuru at his official residence. Museveni said that he met Uhuru on his capacity as the facilitator of peace process in Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC. However, he never revealed what he discussed with Uhuru but instead, he thanked Uhuru for his visit to Uganda for the first time as the retired president of Kenya.
“I received former President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, in his capacity as the facilitator of the Democratic Republic of Congo Peace Process. We had meaningful discussions and I thank him for coming.” Said President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Here are some of the photos taken during their meeting.
