Calvin Gaucho is the brainchild behind the formation of the Bunge La Mwananchi group, the group operates like a parliament and the only difference is that it is the common citizens who participate in their sessions. Gaucho is among the diehard supporters of former prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga an the Kenya Kwanza alliance.
Recently, there have been allegations that Calvin Gaucho has ditched Azimio One Kenya alliance for Kenya Kwanza, that he has met with president William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua. There are claims that he has been gifted Ksh. 30M, a lavish home in Nairobi, a car and his wife has been given a government job.
Calvin Gaucho has been forced to address the claims, he says that it has become too much and he had to speak out. Gaucho has approximated that if really Ruto gave him a house, it will cost a minimum of Ksh. 40M, a landcruiser V8 will cost close to Ksh.25M and all other goodies will amount close to Ksh. 200M.
Gaucho has watered down the claims saying that he has nothing to offer to Ruto for him to be awarded such a huge amount of money, he has wondered if the likes of Jalang’o and Mudavadi have been gifted over a billion Kenyan shillings. Gaucho says that the claims that his wife has been given a government job is not realistic also because some close allies of the president are still jobless.
The Bunge La Mwananchi leader has said that if Ruto gifted him the stated goodies, he has no education hence he will move to the United States of America and take his studies there, he will then come back to Kenya in 2032 to launch his presidential ambitions.
