Fresh Details Emerge on What ODM Party Did to Rebel MPs Since February Before Expelling Them

Days after being expelled from ODM party, Bondo member of parliament Hon Gedion Ochanda has finally revealed what happened to them since February before their expulsion.

Speaking via a report covered on Monday’s Standard publication, Ochanda claimed that ODM party ceased communication with them since February.

Via the report, Ochanda adds they were sidelined from key decisions involving the party and therefore the reason as to why they opted not to offer an apology.

His statement comes off in line with ODM NEC decision to expel Lang’ata constituency member of parliament Hon Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o, kisumu senator Tom Ojienda among others over their association with President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

Stressing on their expulsion, Mr Odinga claimed the outfit won’t condone anyone warning president William Ruto against coercing opposition MPs into the government.

He called on head of state to respect party’s democracy and govern within the law by allowing MPs to oversight his government.

The veteran opposition leader was speaking in kisii where he was flanked by former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka, Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga and Kisii county governor Simba Arati.
